For the primary bedroom’s central anchor, we thoughtfully designed an all-in-one, bespoke bed with floating nightstands, built in reading lights, and a matching credenza that housed a hidden TV lift at the feet of the bed to offer luxury and functionality. We took inspiration from the sea for this ocean facing property when designing the porthole-inspired headboard. Textures and patterns were layered thoughtfully to add visual interest, while providing the clients a sense of openness with an airy color palette of warm creams and sandy neutrals. For depth, tactile elements like solid travertine table lamps with a raked finish, silky and plush carpet with shimmering stripes, soft leather drawer fronts, lime washed walls, and an earthy ombré alpaca throw combine to create a serene yet richly detailed retreat.
